What are NDIS Assist Personal Activites
Assist Personal Activities (Registration Group 0107) is an NDIS program that offers qualified support workers to assist you with basic daily personal care and hygiene duties. The purpose of this sponsored assistance is to support you in maintaining your independence, dignity, and a healthy lifestyle at home or in the community.People with disabilities can work toward their objectives, live more independently, and participate in daily activities and community events with the support of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). All NDIS-funded assistance must be both essential and reasonable.
Personalized Plans
Who is Eligible for NDIS Assist Personal Acivites
Personal hygiene includes dressing, grooming, hair washing, showering, bathing, and dental hygiene.
- Eating and Drinking: Help with meals, including feeding and understanding dietary requirements.
- Mobility & Transfers: Using mobility aids or communication devices, moving around the house, and getting in and out of bed.
- Medical & Toileting: Assistance with menstruation, managing the bladder and bowel, taking medication, and using the restroom.
- Community Access: Giving you this individual attention and supervision as you go to social gatherings, appointments, or community events
