Who is Eligible for NDIS Specialization Disability Accommadation

Disabilities are broadly classified according to how they affect a person's everyday life, functioning, or health. Physical, sensory,  learning, and chronic illness/invisible disability are the seven most prevalent types.

1. Physical Impairments
A person's mobility, dexterity, or endurance are all impacted by these diseases. They may be acquired through disease or injury, or they may be congenital (from birth).

2. Impaired Sensation
Sight and hearing are the two main senses that are affected by sensory disorders.

3. Disabilities of the Mind
These were once referred to as mental retardation and include severe impairments in both adaptive behavior and intellectual functioning (reasoning, learning, problem-solving).

4. Mental Health Impairments
These encompass a broad spectrum of psychological or behavioral disorders that can seriously hinder an individual's capacity to manage everyday stressors and engage in social interactions.
